Sebastian sets the investment objectives and leads the day to day operations of the fund.

Most recently, he was a summer analyst at Deutsche Bank, where he worked in Emerging Markets Sales & Trading and the Commercial Real Estate team within the Investment Banking division.

As a junior at NYU Stern, Sebastian hopes to continue bridging the theoretical concepts taught and apply them to real world markets.

Kevin oversees the implementation of trading and investment strategies in order to accomplish the goals of the fund.

With years of experience in the equities and cryptocurrency markets, Kevin applied his prior knowledge to develop key trading strategies at BlackBird Capital.

As a current junior at St. John’s University Tobin School of Business, Kevin is also active in the school’s finance club and student-run fund.

Outside of BlackBird Capital, you can find him playing with his dog and cooking Michelin star dishes.

Ivan Aristy

Investor Relations

Ivan is our bridge between current and potential investors and the Blackbird Team, overseeing communications and research distributed to both.

After moving to the United States in 2017, Ivan leveraged experience obtained while interning at El Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana to venture into the US equities and derivatives markets.

Now a junior at NYU Stern, he found himself interested in the asset management side of finance and is going to be working for Goldman Sachs Asset Management next summer in their multi asset solutions team.

Outside of BlackBird Capital, you can catch Ivan playing soccer or skating, watching Formula 1 games with his friends, or DJing at nightclubs across NYC.

With a heavy mathematics and coding background, Christian plays a large role in the firms automated trading projects, specializing in client-side coding and API communication.

A Junior at NYU Stern, Christian studies Finance and Quantitative Economics, providing him the proper skill set to develop macro sentiments for the fund.

Outside of BlackBird, you can find Christian browsing vintage vinyls, cooking homemade meals, or playing the electric guitar.
